President Obama And His Administration Does Not Support The Constitutionality of The Defense of Marriage Act

President Obama ordered his administration to stop defending the constitutionality of a federal law that bans recognition of gay marriage on Wednesday. This is another move where President Obama decides to stand up against marriage, conservatives and snub his nose at Federal Law. President Obama considers the Defense of Marriage Law unconstitutional. One would wonder why President Obama feels this way.

Could it be that Gay lobbyists have money that President Obama needs to help him win in the 2012 Presidential Elections? Could it be President Obama is slowly trying to shove his beliefs down the throats of America and its Citizens? This can only be done piece by piece or the American public will choke on his Liberalism.

What is the Defense of Marriage Act? Defense of Marriage Actis the short title of a federal law of the United States passed on September 21, 1996 as Public Law No. 104-199, 110 Stat. 2419. . Under the law, also known as DOMA, no state (or other political subdivision within the United States) needs to treat as a marriage a same-sex relationship considered a marriage in another state (DOMA, Section 2); the federal government defines marriage as a legal union between one man and one woman (DOMA, Section 3).

The bill was passed by Congress by a vote of 85–14 in the Senate[1] and a vote of 342–67 in the House of Representatives,[2] and was signed into law by President tBill Clinton on September 21, 1996. (This was copied and is courtesy of

What President Obama did yesterday was done by one Liberal individual who is called the Commander of Chief of the United States of America. There was not vote in Congress or the Senate about this matter. President Obama has the majority in the Senate, but he no longer has the majority in the House of Representatives. He decided on his own to stand up for Gay Marriage. It makes one wonder if President Obama will take part in future Gay Pride Day parades in Washington, DC or any other important Gay movements.

What does this mean? This decision means President Obama is continuing to show his true colors. This decision could have major implications for the rights and benefits of gay couples and reignite the emotional debate for the 2012 Presidential Campaign. In other words, President Obama is pulling his forces together to try to keep the White House. Obama concluded the Defense of Marriage Act was legally indefensible.

It doesn’t matter what your views are about Gay Marriage. This is not the point in this matter. As a Christian, Gay Marriage is against my religion. However, we all know what Christian’s believe no longer matters in the United States of America. What matters in this situation are the consequences.

America is dying from the inside out. We no longer have ethics in any part of our government. The President makes rules he believes the country should be forced to follow. The Federal courts said Obamacare was unconstitutional and President Obama tells America it does not matter what the courts say. America tells its government they are sick of spending, but the government continues to spend our nation into despair. Now this decision by President Obama to stop supporting the Defense of Marriage Act is another attempt to destroy America. The majority of American’s believe in the sanctity of marriage. However, President Obama no longer believes. I wonder what his wife thinks about his decision.

Note: Christian people do not hate gay people. We do not believe in Gay Marriage, this is what the Bible teaches us, this is our religion. I believe if Jesus was on this earth now, his ministry would be focused on gay people and their lives. He always went to the people who needed to be saved when he was on this earth. He loves everybody and Jesus wants everybody to be Christian.

The most important thing to do in this matter is fight for our rights. All those in government trying to destroy American and spending too much money, vote them out. You will have another chance to do this in 2012. President Obama does not have the change you believe in. He voted down on the Defense of Marriage Act. He voted down on every Christian and all of our beliefs. In 2012, you will have the chance to vote President Obama and his administration down.
