Hopelessness. Guilt. Depression. Confusion. Loneliness.
If your daughter, son, wife, or other loved one is facing an eating disorder, you might know those feelings intimately. Eating disorders don’t solely terrorize the patient, they hurt families and children as well.
But, there is help. Treatment is available. Many women (and men) have successfully been treated for anorexia and bulimia. Some have overcome the disorder through outpatient treatment. Others require more intensive, residential care.
If you are seeking treatment facilities for your child or loved one, below are a few options in Texas. Please discuss this with your pediatrician, counselor or mental health professional before choosing a program. As each case is different, he/she can provide you better advice.
