Green Tea: From A to J

I have started from A and reached J. I wanted to share it with all of you.


Green Tea acts as a wonderful Anti-Oxidant. Green Tea is also characterized by its Anti-Inflammatory and Anti-Microbial effects. Green Tea is suggested to people suffering from Arthritis because it may help people with arthritis by reducing inflammation and slowing cartilage breakdown. Green Tea also aids in the prevention of Atherosclerosis (a disease in which plaque builds up on the insides of the arteries).  Green Tea controls Aging because of its antioxidant properties. Man and women who drink Green Tea regularly are less likely to suffer from Alzheimer ’s disease when they get old.


Green Tea cures Bad Breath (yes, really).Some research studies show that Green Tea increase Bone Mineral density so it should be given to people with weak bones (children and old people)


Green Tea is especially advised to Cancer patients because research shows a positive correlation between drinking Green Tea and reduction of Esophageal and Liver cancer. It starves off cancer cells by restricting blood vessel growth and it wreaks havoc in cancer cells, causing them to self-destruct. Green Tea is also observed to act as a barrier against cognitive impairment (like Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease). Green Tea also reduces the level of cholesterol in blood, improves the ratio of good cholesterol to bad cholesterol.


Dental Caries (Tooth Decay) can be controlled to a great extent by Green Tea. Green Tea is also advised to Diabetic patients or people who are diabetic-prone (people having a diabetic relative). Green Tea is found to regulate blood sugar levels.


Green Tea increases Exercise Endurance and is therefore very very important for successful athletes.


Green Tea burns Fat and is therefore vital if you want to lose some weight. Green tea is attributed to being able to lose weight faster by accelerating the burning of calories, reducing appetite and stimulating fat reduction. It also prevents Flu and common cold.


Green tea works wonders on the Gastrointestinal tract


Green Tea protects your heart from Heart Diseases. It also fights against Hypertension (High Blood Pressure) which is a leading cause of death among the elderly.


Immunity gets stronger if you drink one or more cups of Green Tea everyday. Believe me it’s a wonder. Your body can fight against the common cold and Flu (as I have already mentioned). Also, green tea may help reduceinflammation associated with Crohn’s disease and ulcerated colitis, the two types of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).


Green Tea and Japan, yes. Although Green tea originates from China    but it  has become associated with many cultures in Asia from Japan and South Korea to the Middle East. Japanese has conducted many many research studies to discover the hidden wonders of this miracle drug. Green Tea has always been associated with the Asian Paradox (or the Japanese Paradox I would recommend). 75% of Japanese smoke yet just a few die from Heart Disease and Coronary Disorders. Green Tea is claimed to have some association with this paradox because it is claimed to provide protection against Heart Disease in spit of Smoking.
