Guilt Free Eating

Eating out at restaurants always has a golden feeling attached to it. Be it cafés, hotels, small eateries or roadside stall, highway joints- they just fill us with excitement and delectable delights. Infact any kind of celebration is always attached with eating out. We celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, promotion, ne w house, new car and things alike by treating ourselves with lunch or dinner in the restaurants. Friends, family members, colleagues or even alone- this love cannot be lessened at anytime.

Most of us don`t eat well or cannot eat properly while they are out. Either they eat less or they eat too much. People who are suffering from compulsive eating disorder are little worried and quizzed about the way to eat and what to eat in the restaurants. Bistros are a place to eat to heart`s content and enjoy the various delicacies and not to be scared of. It is always advisable not to eat in large portions. Cutting the meal into half or one-third will automatically lower down the calorie intake. Appetizers, main meal and desserts are teeming with calories and knowing that you have a problem with eating right it would be good to trim that count. There is nothing to feel ashamed of. Infact if you make it a point that you are trying to cope with compulsive eating disorder, your efforts will be well appreciated and applauded by your family members and friends. Try finding friends who don`t mind eating together and splitting the bill together. So if a plate of gravy egg noodles and pan fried chicken in oyster sauce is shared by you two, you actually save on bill and overeating. That is a good idea. Many eating places serve more than what one person can have as per plate quantity. It becomes difficult to eat the wholeportion as that will qualify as overeating. So sharing is beneficial in this context as well.

Compulsive eating is like when you are full to the brim but still feel like binging. I feel that is the eye- hunger. Even if the tummy says no, the eyes don`t. So people move around and pop in few things here and here without even realizing that they will soon come within the bracket of compulsive eating habits. The uncontrollable urge gets deadly. I have seen few who just can`t take away their eyes off from food item wrappers and packets until they receive one. This gets transformed into eating disorder sooner than later. Only via professional aid this addiction can be cured.
