How to Teach Children Etiquette

It’s important to teach children etiqquete since they will need to use them when they grow up. If you don’t teach them, they will have no ideas and people will look at them funny if they act so inappropiately in public.

Clean up after them

They should learn how to clean up after themselves like their room or the house.

To say excuse thank you

They should learn how to say excuse me, thank you, and sorry. These are very important words to say to people. Some just don’t say enough of it anymore.

To dress appropriately

They should learn how to dress appropriately in public and not expose too much of their body while they’re in public.

To wait for others to finish first

They should let other finish first before they want to jump in and argue and finish something. They should be respectful of others.

To wait in line

They should wait in line and not push people around. They should wait until it’s their turn.

To use the restroom

They should learn how to use the restroom when they need too and not make a mess elsewhere and to clean up after themselves and to clean up the restroom once in awhile too.

To eat and clean up properly

They should learn how to eat neatly and learn to wash their own dishes. They should learn how to clean up after themselves and not make a mess in the kitchen.

To be nice to guests

You should teach them to be polite to guests that will come to your house. They should stay quiet and go to their room and let you handle your business.
