Water also doesn’t contain any calories so you can theoretically drink as much as you want and not gain weight. You can compare that to the average can of soda pop that contains 100 calories. The problem is that most people drink more than one can or bottle per day.
The next thing you should be doing is eating a healthy breakfast. First and foremost eating breakfast is important to get your metabolism up and going again. After you’ve taken a long break from eating your metabolism basically shuts off. If you want to get it going again to burn calories you need to eat in the morning. The other benefit is that if you start your day healthy you’ll be more likely to eat healthy and build healthy habits throughout the rest of the day.
The last tip is to make sure you’re doing the right exercise. If you have a whole bunch of fat covering your belly you need to do some type of cardio exercise. Start off slowly and increase your exercise intensity every week. It’s important to write down exactly what you do so when it comes time to work out again the next week you’ll have a log of what you did. If you’re trying to build up your abs you need to make sure you’re using weight for any of the exercises you’re doing. Just by putting 5-10 pounds on your chest will create the extra resistance your abs need. If you follow these tips you’ll see success quicker than you ever thought possible.
