Introduction of 2012 Kia Rio
2012 Kia Rio will be delivered as a small sized 5-door hatchback or a 4-door sedan. It will be available in three versions- SX, LX, and entry level, whereas the hatchback is produced in only one model- SX.
The four-wheel drive vehicles get power from a 1.6 liter 4-cylinder engine for 10 horsepower and are loaded with a five speed manual transmission. The SX and LX models come with an optional 4-speed automatic transmission. The manual transmission versions achieve 35 miles per gallon on the highways and 32 miles per gallon on city streets, whereas the automatic transmission versions provide 38 miles per gallon on the highway and 29 miles per gallon on city streets.
The entry level 2012 Kia Rio will come with a tachometer, an adjustable driver’s seat, and 14 inch tires. The LX model will have an air conditioning system, power steering, a CD player, a tilting steering wheel, and a 60-40 split rear seat. Coming to the SX model, it will have fog lights, a rear spoiler, 15 inch tires, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and metal pedals. If you select the SX model with power package, you will get 16 inch tires, keyless entry, and power accessories.
Coming to safety amenities of 2012 Rio, an advanced antilock braking system, curtain airbags, side airbags, and stability control are included. The cabin of this vehicle is luxurious and the seats are very comfortable. But, the downside of this vehicle is that there is no spacious room for tall passengers.
