Nino’s is an upscale Italian restaurant and it is located in the West Dallas area which is not too far from the city’s downtown and once you get there you will notice a trio of restaurant, owned by the same family, and patio in the middle with appealing architecture and fountains. The restaurant is located at 2817 West Dallas Street and their hours of operations are Monday through Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
The décor inside is rustic and sophisticated at the same time, making a perfect place for a date, and the wait staff and the hostess or host are always friendly and greet you with a smile, even though the prices are in the mid high side, therefore it gets a C+.
For their appetizers go with the polenta con funghi which is oven roasted polenta with a wild mushroom for $6.75, or the carciofo ripieno which is steamed whole artichoke stuffed with seasoned breadcrumbs for $9, or even the fritto misto which are fried calamari, shrimp, zucchini with a spicy marinara sauce for $10.95.
For their pastas go with the linguine with a clam sauce which are tossed with little neck clams in a white clam sauce for $15.95, or the penne alla vodka which come with lump crabmeat in a tomato cream vodka sauce for $13.95, or even the simple but tasteful cacio e pepe which is spaghetti with Parmesan cheese and black pepper for $11, or even the gnocchi which come with a red sauce for $12.95.
