Have you ever felt flatulence, full of gas, abdominal cramps, or other uncomfortable feeling after eating? If so, it means that you have digestive disorders (indigestion). Digestive disorder often occur to everyone, usually known as ulcer. This digestive disorder is caused by irritation or inflammation of the mucosal wall. Ulcer appears as a result of the movement disorder or the injury of gastrointestinal tract. Wrong life style also can be the cause of digestive disorders. Below are easy tips that can prevent digestive disorders and improve your digestive health by doing healty diet.

Eat regularly

The effectiveness of stomach reached its peak every four hours. Thus, irregular eating habits may result to digestive disorders, that the food can’t be digested properly. Finally, the food will be fermented and causing flatulence

Chew the food properly, do not eat in a hurry
Chewing is one of the most important part in the digestive process, but often forgotten. Chewing is not only help you break down the food, but also gives signal to the salivary gland, stomach and small intestine to start releasing digestive enzymes. Do not swallow the food in a hurry or chew the food while talking, this is to avoid excessive intake of air into the oral cavity.

Consume the foods with a harmonious combination
Most people doesn’t pay attention to the food menu. Yet the improper menu can cause indigestion, do not combine fruits with vegetables, fruit (especially citrus) with carbohydrates sources, fruit with protein sources and carbohydrate source with protein sources. Remember to balance the composition among fats, carbohydrates, and proteins.

Do not eat too much
If you eat too much or exceed the capacity of the digestive enzymes that produced, then the foodss can not be digested properly. The foods will be processed in the intestines and cause fermentation, and digestive disorders.

Avoid lying down after meals
You should not lay down after eating, since this can cause gastroesophageal reflux. Gastroesophageal reflux is the condition when foods in a state of acid back into the esophagus causing discomfort or burning in the oral cavity. Instead, eating activity should be stopped at least two hours before bedtime.

Do fasting when you get digestive disorders
Fasting here does not mean not eating and drinking at all, but restrict the consumption of some foods. The foods that can be consumed during the fasting to overcome digestive disorders is lemon juice mixed with water or pure lemon juice, apple juice, carrot juice, and cabbage juice.
