Many of us have trouble sleeping. Digital clocks, computers and even the television can be a distraction for the light sleeper. For those of us who do not wish to ingest the over the counter sleep aid, here is a compound of herbs that I use personally.
The first thing I recommend is getting a brand of tea that suites your taste. Many local grocery stores have wide selections. Try using a chamomile tea as a base for your concoction. Once you have a tea you like you must acquire the herbs. Make sure your base tea does not contain caffiene
Kava Kava Root
When buying your herbs I find that tinctures are the best way to ingest the herbs. Once you have your chamomile tea brewed, remove the bag and add one dropper of each tincture into the tea.
Prepare this drink about 1 hour before you plan to go to bed.
Most people do not have any side effects with this drink. The only exception is the desire to go to bed
If you don’t have a local store that sells herbs you can order them online in tincture form, or even make herbal tinctures yourself.
