1.) La Fortuna Waterfalls: Costa Rica
One of the most astounding waterfalls in Central America is La Fortuna Waterfall. The name means “the fortune”. It is located in the province of Alajuela, Costa Rica. Catarata Fortuna, its name in Spanish, is 75 meters in height. The waterfall lies at the base of Chato Volcano, a dormant volcano near the Arenal Volcano in the town of La Fortuna.
2.) La Paz Waterfall: Costa Rica
Another beautiful waterfalls located in Costa Rica is La Paz Waterfall. The name means “the peace”. It is known as Catarata de La Paz in Spanish. The Cataratas de Agua Azul or “Blue-Water Falls” are beautiful waterfalls located in Chiapas, Mexico. This waterfall is consists of many cataracts with the larger cataracts measuring 6 meters or 20 feet in height. It was named Blue Water Falls because the water is as blue as it looks in the pictures and has a high mineral content.
