And text messaging grows at a rate of 92% every year. And the figure that really baffled me was the age bracket of 15 to 59 are all responsive to text messaging.
There is no other form of media advertising available today was such a high response rate, such high open rates, for such a low price. Returns on investment with text messaging versus other forms of advertising are amazing.
Text messaging is more than just two people communicating. Text messaging provides the opportunity for businesses to send out reminders of scheduled appointments, provide contests for interactivity with their customers, provide information about their products services or brands, and the biggest and most beneficial is to provide coupons to bring a rush of new customers into their business in a short period of time.
Bottom line is this, SMS has proven to be a very cost-effective way to engage in mobile marketing, and your return on investment is greater than most other forms of advertising.
