If you write articles for InfoBarrel, you already realize that you can generate a good passive revenue by writing articles that are full of useful information and are keyword rich. Info Barrel is a site that allows you to express yourself and share ideas with others through their publishing platform. You will make money off of the advertising placed on your informative articles, which will be paid to you by Google.
Many InfoBarrel authors place signatures in all of the articles. These signatures can be linked with affiliate URLs or they can be plain. Some authors put catchy quotes of the day while others just put their name. You may notice that your signature has a typo or otherwise needs to be changed. The home page makes it easy for someone to add a new signature, but if your original signature is fine and it just needs to be edited slightly, why create a whole new signature?
The answer: You don’t have to. Here’s how to change your signature on InfoBarrel without having to create a new signature.
First, log into your Info Barrel account with your user name and password. This will allow you to access your personal account settings and articles, which you will need to do in order to change or update your Info Barrel signature. Once you have logged in, in the upper right hand corner of the screen you will see several links, including “My InfoBarrel”, “Create”, “My Content” and “My Account”. Click on the “My Account” option.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page. On the right hand side, you will see a link to the right of where it says “My Signatures” that says, “add new”. Click on the “add new” link. Don’t worry, you will not have to create a new signature on InfoBarrel; we are going to update or change your old signature.
On the next page, look at the right side of the page. You will see an area for “My Signatures”. Mouse over the name of the signature that you need to update. It will become underlined. Click on the signature name.
On the next page, towards the left side, you will see the text of your signature inside of an editing box. Go ahead and edit your signature as you see fit. When you are finished, click the “Save Signature” button, which is located near the middle of the page, slightly above the signature editing box.
Presto! You’re done. You can now view your new signature on your old and new articles- and you didn’t even have to make a new signature.
