How to Make Chicken Jambalaya in an Easy Way

Ingredients and Items Needed:

1 tablespoon of olive oil

½ a cup of chopped celery

½ a cup of chopped onion

½ a cup of chopped green bell pepper

3 teaspoons of Cajun seasoning

16 ounces of chicken broth

1 can of diced tomatoes

1 cup of long grain white rice

1 dried bay leaf

12 ounces of sliced already cooked chicken breast

This is an easy and quite fast recipe to make and it can be an easy dinner or to bag it up and bring to work. It takes about ten minutes to prepare and about twenty to cook and the following recipe makes for about six small servings:

The first thing to do is to chop the vegetables and cut the chicken into small sizes and put the olive oil in the skillet and heat it on medium for about four minutes

Then add to the skillet the celery, onion and bell pepper and sauté for about five minutes

Add the Cajun seasoning and cook on low for another three minutes

Now stir in the chicken broth, the rice and bay leaf and bring to a boil on medium heat, then reduce heat to low and simmer for about twenty minutes and remove the bay leaf

At the same time, heat the chicken in the microwave according to directions on the package

Next add the chicken to the skillet, toss it and serve
