Prologue

Dodge Grand Caravan for 2010 gets some entertainment options. This small sized van is developed with a similar design as that of Chrysler’s Town & Country. It is available in a single-length Grand Caravan body style in SXT and SE trim levels.

Engine Mechanics

2010 Grand Caravan is offered with three V6 engines. SE versions make use of a 3.3-liter engine to churn out 175-horsepower. A 3.8 V6 engine is standard on SXT for 197 horsepower, whereas a 4.0 V6 engine is optional on SXT for 251 hp. The 3.3 versions come standard with a 4-speed automatic transmission and works by using E85 ethanol-blended fuel. Both 4.0 and 3.8 engines make use of a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

Interior Features

Seven members can be accommodated comfortably in this vehicle. It has a standard 60/40 split 3rd-row bench seat, which has a folding feature. Moreover, a power-folding 3rd-row seat is also available in the interior while the second-row bucket seats are standard. The vehicle is also available with Chrysler’s Uconnect multimedia suite that can add a wireless cell-phone link, a navigation system, and 30-gigabyte hard drive to store picture files and digital music. SXT models are packed with a sport suspension, heated front and 2nd-row seats, leather upholstery, and a power tailgate.

An enhanced antilock braking system, traction control, curtain-side airbags, and anti-skid system are included under safety package.
