Fresh air and a little ray of sunshine has this great capability of lifting a person’s mood and making whatever is stressing you out seem that much less significant. 

Eating healthy also helps you feel better, because nutritious food will provide your body with vitamins and minerals needed to run at its full potential. 

Getting together with friends is also a good way to relieve stress.  By spending quality time with friends, and enjoying their company, your mind will be distracted and you will feel relaxed.  As well, when most people are going out it is usually to go to work or run errands, and it is important to take time to go out and do fun things with friends and family.

Listening to music is also a great way to relax and de-stress.  If you spend an hour driving to work each morning in solid traffic, wouldn’t it be that much less stress inducing if all the while you were listening to your favorite album full blast?  Music is great because you can listen to it anywhere and while you are doing pretty much anything, whether it be cooking, cleaning, driving, or working, depending on your job. 

Another great stress buster is having sex.  An orgasm releases beta-endorphins which have the amazing ability to relieve pain and clear your mind. 

There are endless ways to de-stress, you just have to try a few and see what works best for you.  Always remember that you only live once and it’s not worth it to spend life living under the weight of stress!
