Without Her

Without her he is but one sided paper

A pen without ink

A pencil with no lead

A book with no cover

A story with no ending

A page with no paragraphs

A paragraph with no sentences

A sentence with no words

A word with no letters

A letter with no sound

A sound with no meaning

Here it must end for he still lives without her

Your Colors

Red for my love, blue for my heart

Green for your sweet eyes, I loved from the start.

In passion you loved, in anger you ran

Taking with you all that I am

Red for my love, blue for my heart

Green for your sweet eyes, forever apart.

The Love of a Woman

The love of a woman is like life,

For all men possess it.

Like death,

For it conquers all men.

And like eternity,

For it engulfs all men.

Wishes

Don’t be afraid to wish

Whether dream or reality

A wish is but this

The ability to live with mortality

War

Love is like war

Both center around winning what belongs to another

Taking that which can only be given

Possessing that which can’t be kept
