Fat Burning Principles – Incorrect Exercise Prevents Fat Burning
In this article we’ll learn about how incorrect exercise prevents fat burning.
I went to the gym with a woman who went there almost every day spending hours exercising. The girl would lose 10 lbs and then it seems like it would come right back about a week later. This is a common problem that goes on with many people each and every week. They are called yo-yo dieters. Incorrect exercise prevents fat burning.
Different body types require different types of exercise.
You’ve probably heard before that “The reason you’re fat is because you just don’t get enough exercise.” But, if you are an Adrenal body type and you do hard exercise, not only will you prevent fat burning, but your body might even gain more fat. Exercise will work for you only if you have healthy adrenal glands. If you have an Adrenal body type, adding more exercise to an already stressed-out body is self-defeating.
Adrenal body types require light, slow exercise.
On the other hand, if you have a Liver body type, the fat-burning hormones need to be stimulated intensely for weight loss to occur. If the exercise is too light or too slow, you will not acheive the benefits. Exercising for your specific body type can be a big advantage in maximizing weight loss. Most people will assume that their fat is made up of excess calories and all that is necessary is to burn these calories off through exercising. However, it’s not the calories burned during exercise that are significant. There are delayed fat burning effects that occur between 14 and 48 hours after exercise, but only when specific conditions are met regarding sleep and stress levels.
The Exercise Longer to Lose Weight Myth.
This is the philosophy that is currently being pushed in gyms. One woman was not only exercising 2 hours per day 7 days per week, but she also ran a 26-mile marathon and lost absolutely no weight at all. Talk about depressing! Since the adrenals are the stress glands, if you have an Adrenal body shape, then the longer and harder you exercise, the less you will lose because you are triggering those darn stress hormones again causing more belly fat.
So, there is a specific way you should be exercising to trigger fat burning, depending on your specific gland weakness.
You should make sure that you are not sabotaging yourself. You need to make sure that you are using the right type of exercise. You should first take the body type quiz to find what body type you have. Then you’ll be able to find out what specific type of exercise you need to do to get the best results. It’s possible that your body type is one that requires less exercise than you may think. How awesome would it be if you could exercise less and still lose more weight than you were losing before?
