The capital of Colombia is undoubtedly the pride of entire Latin America. Flaunting with stylish shopping centres offering hoards for trendy stuffs, the conurbation presents countless number of exciting venues to explore. From amazing museums and expos to thrilling concerts, theatres and restaurants, the place has something for everyone. Be it biking, fishing, rafting or simply walking, the opportunities for fun are unlimited. No wonder these attractions stimulate flights to Bogota!

Every year, flights to Bogota are drawn in plenty, primarily due to the concoction of delights the city offers. The capital of Colombia is popularly known as the “Athens of South America”. The place is blessed with umpteenth number of beautiful edifices, astonishing nightlife, scrumptious cuisines and lavishing shopping malls. Apart from being the most populous metropolis of the country, it is also the largest in Latin America. Another notable thing is that it owns the biggest moorland of the world.

A series of recently built shopping malls have revealed most of the Bogota flights carrying a plethora of stuffs shopped from here. Centro Mayor is the biggest mall in Colombia followed by Santafé. Other significant malls include Atlantis Plaza, Centro Andino, Plaza se las Américas, Portal de la 80, Hacienda Santa Barbara, Gran Estación, to name just a few.

Monserrate Sanctuary, Casa de la Moneda, La Candelaria, Colon Theatre and Malkota are some of the major places of interest here. Also, the frolicking activities offered here include fishing, biking, river rafting, camping and walking. An array of such tourist spots and exciting activities offered by the conurbation is responsible for a long queue for cheap flights to Bogota. When tired after exploring the different fun filled places and activities, one can relax in any of the local restaurants or cafes having the popular Ajiaco and Mazamorra, hearty stews, enough to rejuvenate anyone.    

Within the metropolis one can witness art galleries, concerts and theatres, museums, planetarium and World Trade Centre. It will be interesting to see Corferias, popular expo on trade show. The exclusive bull fight practiced here can be viewed at Plaza de Toros de Santamaria.  Majority of the fine restaurants have been clubbed in Park 93. Those looking for great night life can head towards Zona Rosa for an unforgettable experience. One can witness the continuous rounds of salsa and rumbas throughout the night at the Rumbear. The Salt Cathedral of Zipaquira flanked by fourteen separate chapels, is itself responsible for bringing regular flights to Bogota.
