Stargate SG-1: Bounty is a show I liked more than I thought I would. From the 10th and final season of the show, the premise has Netan of the Lucian Alliance putting out a bounty on SG-1. What makes it interesting in a way is that all of the teammates are on downtime, so we see them in different surroundings than we are used to.
Oddly fun to watch was Mitchell taking Vala with him to his hometown in Kansas where he’s going to attend his class reunion. Some of these scenes really do work well.
Meanwhile, Sam is at a conference with Doctor Lee. This is fun because they rig inventions not to work as they really do.
Elswhere, Daniel is at the library doing some research when he’s approached by a beautiful woman who makes a pass at him. Now this is where we see some very cute emanations from Michael Shanks. Watch for those dimples.
The editing may not be as sound in this episode as it could be, such as the scene at the library when Daniel is threatened by the assassin. It doesn’t make sense, location wise.
I’m not fond of the ending simply because it was just so-so and focused on Mitchell and Vala.
