Don’t you just love the New Year? There’s something so fresh and exciting about a time of new beginnings, alive with all possibilities – and I have a feeling that 2011 is going to be an especially powerful and rewarding for us all.
I’d like to offer a few tips to help ensure that 2011 is all you want it to be:
First and foremost, take the time to review your successes from 2010. Since we are all familiar with the Law of Attraction, we know that what we are putting our attention on will continue to manifest in our lives so recounting your successes is a good practice to ensure that more good will come in the year ahead. Make a long list of everything good that happened large and small – all the rewarding things you experienced, the desires you fulfilled, the knowledge you gained, the people who were there for you, the lessons you learned.
Sometimes we tend to look at what others have – the big houses, the best-selling book, the lucrative career, the perfect children – and it causes us to contract. I suggest that if that ever happens to you, come back to your own life and look around and think:
What if these people or these things in my life disappeared tomorrow? This is a great exercise for bringing us back to a place of gratitude for exactly what we have.
Second, write out what you intend to manifest in 2011. When you do this, be bold. Think huge. Write out everything you desire in all areas of life. Don’t worry about the how. Just know what you want and the how will be revealed to you.
Finally, if you want to have great success in actually manifesting that perfect
relationship or that healthy body or that change in diet or that best-selling book, you need support. You need people who will keep you accountable to your word.
On January 7 – 9 at the Doubletree hotel in Skokie, Illinois, I will be offering a powerful seminar called Yes to Success. Tens of thousands of people around the world have benefitted from the principles taught in this seminar and gone on to become best-selling authors, world class athletes, successful entrepreneurs, multimillionaires – and internationally recognized names. I’ll not only teach effective ways to set goals, makes plans to support those goals and take action to implement your plans but we will work in teams over the next year – and your team will not let you go back to your old habits in a month or two. They will support you in establishing a new habit that will bring you all the success that you desire.
Oh, and if you’re thinking. “But I don’t know what my goals are,” or “I don’t know what I want in my life,” by the end of the weekend you will. I promise you that.
Have a happy 2011 filled with great happiness, great accomplishment, and great success – oh, and great love. And let’s all make this the year of expecting only the best… and accepting only the best. You deserve nothing less. Happy New Year.
