If you don’t want to have such teeth, follow these easy tips to keep your teeth healthier, whiter, cleaner, and stronger.
- Eat vegetables and fruits, because the vegetables and the fruits contain many vitamins, minerals, fiber and water that help you clean the teeth from the plaque. Avoid too many sweet foods and sticky foods such as candy, sweet cakes, biscuits, and ice cream. Always brush your teeth after eating those foods.
- Your toothbrush should fit your jaw shape. Use circular motion, and don’t be too hard because it can cause abrasion on the teeth. You should brush gently your tongue too, or use particular tools to do it. This will make your breath more fresh. You should use dental floss to clean areas between teeth, and unreachable areas by the toothbrush.
- Use toothpaste which contains fluoride to strengthen and prevent cavities. Let the fluoride work effectively and attached to the tooth surfaces first, then you can rinse the teeth. It’s recommended that you brush your teeth at least 2 times a day, after breakfast in the morning and before sleep at night.
- Visit your dentist regularly at least once for 6 months, and plaque cleaning once for 6-12 months. If you have irregular arrangement of teeth and very disturbing appearance, perform orthodontic treatment or dental care procedure. In light case, only cosmetic contouring is needed, but it’s well recommended that orthodontic treatment should be performed first before cosmetic contouring to gain maximal result.
