Today is first day of English New Year-January 1 of the English Calendar year 2011. Leaving behind all successes and failures, joys and sorrows in the treasury of the past, entire nation is set to greet English new year today amid unbounded hopes and reiterating pledges of building “Sonar Bangla” as dreamt by the Father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
