2011 Dodge Nitro is a small sized crossover sports utility vehicle that is available in either four-wheel or all-wheel drive models.

Mechanical Specs

Based on driving pattern, each model is available with either 4.0-liter V6 or 3.7-liter V6 engines. Coming to performance, it is available with a 3.7-liter V6 engine for the development of 237 pound-feet of torque and 210 horsepower. In addition to this standard engine, it has an optional 4.0-liter V6 engine for 265 pound-feet of torque and 260 horsepower. The standard engine is paired to a four-speed automatic transmission, whereas the optional engine is connected to a 5-speed automatic transmission.

Exterior and Interior

Dodge Nitro for 2011 has aggressive styling and is included with fog lamps, 16-inch steel wheels, roof rails, keyless entry, and heated mirrors.

Coming to interior, it is exceptional and has an impressive cargo capacity of about 65 cubic feet. The interior has reclining and comfortable back seats. Moreover, it has leather wrapped steering wheels, leather trim, optional wood trim, dual zone climate control and more.

In addition to the above, this has decent safety features too. The vehicle includes an advanced ABS system, side- and curtain air bags for head and torso protection, etc. Apart from these features, this vehicle is available with many other sophisticated features.
