N-Spa Pomegranate Adn Butter Milk Shower Sorbet Product Review

t is a bit strange me buying this product as I do not like showers and enjoy nothing more than having a good soak in the bath but as this says it is a shower cream and body wash and the smell was so enticing I decided to buy one anyway!~~THE BOTTLE~~

The body wash as I am going to refer to it, comes in a clear tube which allows you to see the bright pink liquid inside. It has a black plastic flip cap on the bottom which makes this easy to use and even easier to stand the tube up as it is not hard plastic but soft. The front of the tube has the N-spa logo on the top corner and the product name in big black lettering all down the middle to the bottom of the tube. The back of the tube has all the product details, directions for use and ingredients on.

It is very simple to use this body wash and to do so a small amount should be squeezed out of the tube by the flip lid on the bottom and then massaged into the skin, you can use a flannel or sponge if you wish. Then the wash should be rinsed off the skin.

For me I use mine when having a bath and use if more as a soap. I have found when using this with the hands and massaging it into my skin I get a good lather from it and it cleans well but for an extra lather I found using a loofa or sponge creates more lather and covers the whole body in bubbles.

What I noticed the minute I opened the flip lid was the smell, it was wonderful yet not overpowering. It really smelt like pomegranate and was very fruity. Did find that the smell intensified when using the body wash and I was able to smell it for the whole duration of my bath. Once I had got out of the bath and dried off I was happy to notice I was still able to faintly smell the pomegranate on my skin. It was only faint so was pleasant and not overpowering for those who wished to spray perfume or another fragrance on themselves. My skin felt wonderful after using this on it and I noticed how moisturised it looked. I do tend to get a bit of dry skin on my elbows but this has not affected it and has actually helped to get rid of it.

My hubby suffers with sensitive skin and he has had no problems using this body wash and he does use it in the shower and find he gets the same results as me using it in the bath.

The body wash is quite runny and this does cause a slightly problem when squeezing it out of the tube. I have managed to overcome it running off my hands by using smaller amounts each time or using it more on a sponge where it does not get chance to run off. When I empty the bath out I do notice that there is usually a hint of the body wash at the bottom of the bath by the plug hole and this is usually worse when the cream has run off my hands but it is very simple to wipe away and does not stain the bath. The water does not change colour when using this body wash.

The body wash comes in a 225ml tube and for me this lasts over 1 month due to the fact that I have another 12 on the go at the same time! Only a small amount is needed in each use as it makes a good lather which goes a long way.

The shelf life of the body wash once opened is 12months but there is no chance of it lasting that long in my house.

The product ingredients for those wishing to know are:-

There are a few warnings on the back of the tube and these include the usual once like not getting the wash in the eyes, do not consume and keep out of direct sunlight and away from small children.

The plastic tube can be recycled where facilities exist.

I bought my body wash from Asda and paid £2 for it. I felt this was a very good price as the product is quality and lasts. This can also be bought in Tesco but I am not sure about the other supermarkets. There are also 3 other fragrances in this range which I will be testing very soon as they sit in my bathroom waiting for my next bath!

I would love to be able to give this body wash the full 5 stars but I have had to drop one due to it being so runny and easily running off hands when using it. The smell is wonderful and lasts and leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturised. I do highly recommend this for all fans of fruity bath products.
