We’ve all done it. Promised ourselves that we will change our habits and start living a healthier lifestyle, gotten a very expensive gym membership, and then stopped going to the gym after a few weeks. But it doesn’t have to be that way!
Here are some tips regarding how to make sure you stick to your gym membership and keep going to the gym:
– Tell everyone!
You will get credit for joining AND you will also feel bad if you have to admit that you have stopped going.
– Buy some cute new gym clothes (tip especially suitable for women)
If you feel good about yourself at the gym, you are more likely to go back. So make sure you look, and feel, good!
– Go with a friend.
It will be harder to cancel a date with a friend than a date with yourself.
– Ask for a personal trainer.
They will annoy the hell out of you if you don’t show up, so if you know that you have issues sticking to a plan, make someone else will make you instead!
– You might also want to consider getting some clothes that are one size too small, in order to get you motivated. This does not work for everyone, but it does for a lot of people, especially women!
