— CM Punk is on the booking sheets for next week, main eventing a number of Smackdown house shows in a Four Way Cage match against World champion Kane, Edge and Big Show. The loop includes an event in Chicago, Punk’s hometown, which is likely why he is working the Smackdown side of things.
There’s been no talk of moving him back to the Smackdown brand of late. Raw star Ezekiel Jackson is also listed for some of the Smackdown dates as well.

— CNN.com featured a piece on David Arquette with the actor noting that his voice is so harsh because he’s been doing a lot of screaming lately and that he’s “in the middle of a nervous breakdown”. He also admits he’s been drinking too much.
— WHAS, the ABC affiliate in Louisville, Kentucky is reporting that Black Widow Customs was destroyed today in a fire that was deemed suspicious, just a day after the business was profiled on the channel’s Consumer Watch segment the previous evening. According to WHAS, an employee arrived this morning to find the shop vandalized and several fires burning, which he was unable to stop spreading. The entire inside of the shop was destroyed, according to the report. Arson investigators are currently at the scene. There were no injuries, although several neighboring businesses also suffered smoke damage. Tara opened the shop in 2008.
