How to Make Turkey Meatballs With Cranberry For The Holidays

Ingredients and items needed:

1 can of cranberry sauce

½ cup of barbecue sauce

¼ cup of buttermilk

½ cup of panko bread crumbs

1 large egg white

1 pound of ground turkey breast

1 tablespoon of grated orange peel

A pinch of salt

A pinch of pepper

Line baking sheet

Foil and plastic wrap

No stick cooking spray

Microwaveable bowl 

Large mixing bowl and a small mixing bowl



These turkey meatballs taste delicious and they take fifteen minutes to prepare and about twenty to cook. The following recipe makes for 24 small meatballs that can be served as appetizers

The first thing to do is to pre heat the oven at 450 Fahrenheit degrees and line a baking sheet with foil and place wire mesh rack on top and spray it with no stick cooking spray and set it aside for now

Mix the 1 cup of cranberry sauce and barbecue sauce in a microwaveable bowl and cover with plastic wrap and heat for two minutes then stir the sauce and set aside.

Combine the buttermilk and the bread crumbs in a large mixing bowl and set aside, in the meantime in the smaller mixing bowl, beat the egg white with a mixer

Add the rest of the cranberry sauce, the egg white, ground turkey breast, and the grated orange peel to the soaked bread crumbs and add a pinch of salt and pepper and mix to combine well

Form 24 one inch balls and arrange on wire mesh rack

Bake the meatballs for fifteen minutes and serve with the remaining heated cranberry sauce
