This ham has a Texas twist to it and it is perfect for the holidays, and it only takes about fifteen to twenty minutes to prepare plus half an hour of cooking time. The following recipe makes for twelve servings.

First thing to do is to pre heat the oven at 325 Fahrenheit degrees

In the meantime unwrap the spiral ham and place it on roasting pan

Spoon cherry preserves and place it on the microwaveable bowl and heat for a minute

Then brush ham with 4 or 5 tablespoons of cherry preserves and heat uncovered on center oven rack for fifteen minutes

Remove the ham from the oven and brush with another 5 tablespoons of cherry preserves and heat uncovered for ten minutes

Place the pecans in a blender and turn on for a minute so that they are crushed

Now remove the ham from the oven and sprinkle the crushed pecans on top and lightly brush with 3 tablespoons of preserves

Heat for another five minutes

In a separate dish combine the Dijon mustard the rest of the preserves together and serve along with the ham
