Saint Faustina, Apostle of Divine Mercy

Do what You will with me, O Jesus; I will adore You in everything. May Your will be done in me, O my Lord and my God, and I will praise Your infinite mercy.(St. Faustina’s Diary #78)

With such a companion Faustina

Mercy-A-Day 0ur mission

O ye Muses

Wecome Faustina, welcome His Mercy

 Welcome the solemn prayer

To chant her name

In my daily prayer

ii

Faustina! His Mercy

Better than golden light of sun

Thy compassion

Thy obeying His word

Gives me hope

               My Faustina!

iii

My 65 years are past

Let your magic powers

Restore my health

                         My Faustina!

iv

Rescue our shattered world

Protect us

From the total havoc

                          My Faustina!

A doubt, a fear

Difficult times

O Lord, through her intercession

grant me a bit of light to dispel darkness

                        My Faustina!

vi

Let me see only the Good in others

Receive my prayer

Grant me inner peace

                    My Faustina!

vii.

Tired-moving
bird songless-
hawk is just behind
Finding the vision
of her own powers

Faustina prays

All the good things
that have come to her:
immaculate mother’s grace

Saints around her
adoring for ever:
old vultures flee
spring will come
I’m certain:
sprout of righteousness
Twelve disciples
protect the anoint’d child:
gentle harp is singing

Endless death terrorist suffers
repelling and repelled:
mines beneath
Sweetest cross
her passion and pride:
monster flees
If not today
then tomorrow-
return of the shepherd and Faustina

Faustina says:
Not as I will
but as Thou wilt:
benign commandment
Satan will flee
pushed out of our land:
watch in prayers.
Discontent, anarchy
disaster after disaster:
lunatic fringe
