Stargate SG-1: Singularity is a show I just love to watch, primarily because we get to see the wonderful friendship and closeness between Daniel Jackson and Samantha Carter (Michael Shanks and Amanda Tapping). From the first time I watch this series, I felt their chemistry. They made a great pair, and this is one of those shows where we really get to enjoy their pairing.
The plot has SG-1 bringing a young girl to Earth after finding her as the sole survivor on the planet Hanka. There’s a lot of twisting and turning of the story, so I won’t ruin too much of that, but just when you think you know what’s happening, it changes a little.
Sam and Cassandra are close from the start, and Sam gets very attached, very fast. This is part of allows the Sam and Daniel friendship to come to the forefront as well, since Daniel is there as a support for her.
Daniel is always reminding Sam that she isn’t alone, that he’s there. It’s so sweet and tender. If the producers wanted a romance on this show, it should have been between these two.
Singularity is a great episode, including the final scene which I just adore. It’s at a park, and it’s just full of fun.
