The X Factor results show took place on December 5th 2010 with five acts Rebecca Ferguson, Cher Lloyd, One Direction, Mary Byrne and Matt Cardle looking for one of the four places in the X Factor grand final.
Five acts sung two songs each on the live X Factor show on December the 4th. One Direction, Cher Lloyd and Rebecca Ferguson really impressed me. I love Matt Cardle’s voice but he has been suffering with a very sore throat and you could tell he was not comfortable with his performances. I believe that Matt, Rebecca, One Direction and Cher deserve to be in the final.
The X Factor live results show featured guest performances from Alexandra Burke, the cast of Glee and ‘The Black Eyed Peas’. The Black Eyed Peas were the best performers and had everyone on their feet. They showed the contestants how they should perform.
The public voted and the three top acts to get automatic entry to the final were One Direction, Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle. Cher Lloyd and Mary Byrne received the least public votes and were in the bottom two, meaning they had to sing for survival. Not surprisingly really as Matt is the favorite to win, while some people are sick and tired of Cher’s attitude.
Cher Lloyd and Mary Byrne sung one song each and hoped the judges would keep them in. Mary Byrne sung ‘A Man’s World’ and Cher Lloyd sung ‘Everytime’ by Britney Spears. Both sung very well and showed how much they want to be in next week’s final. Louis was first to vote and he sent his act Mary through to the final. Dannii voted next and sent Cher through to the final. Cheryl voted next and sent Cher through to the final. Simon was last to vote and sent Cher through to the final.
The four X Factor finalists are One Direction, Rebecca Ferguson, Matt Cardle and Cher Lloyd.
Who deserves to win this year’s X Factor and receive the one million pound record deal. You will have to watch the X Factor live final on December 11th 2010.
