Stargate Sg-1: Demons

It may be a bit odd for some, but I actually like to watch Stargate SG-1: Demons.  It’s from the third season, and it finds the flagship team on a planet that is reminiscent of Medieval Europe in terms of way of life and their religious beliefs.

I just enjoyed the team dynamics that came into play in this episode.  It is a team show, and that is always a plus for me.  They do have a lot of decisions to make in terms of whether or not to involve themselves in the culture of the planet.

The show does employ a shock element as respects the character of Teal’c, played by Christopher Judge.  I will say that it was unexpected in the sense of what happens, but not in the course of logic.  To say more would spoil it.

Judge did a bit of double duty here, supplying the the voice of the Unas, a creature first seen in Thor’s Hammer in season one.

I’m not that crazy about the actors in the supporting roles, but that’s okay because the best reason for watching is the interaction between Jack and Daniel as respects how to proceed.  I just love the passion these two share.
