Dying is just like taxes in the respect that it is going to happen to you and me. Over history, we realize it doesn’t matter who you are, you are going to face death. Famous people have no secret weapon against death.
They are just like you and I. They will die. We will die. Death is a part of life. However, many of us look forward to eternal life in Heaven. After we all pass from this world, I hope to meet each one of you in a better place called Heaven.

What Happened On This Day in History?

1964-“Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer” 1st airs on TV

1615-1676 – Daniel Stalpaert was Amsterdam’s master builder; his job was to complete the Town Hall on Dam Square in Amsterdam

1735-1815 – John Carroll was a priest, first Roman Catholic archbishop in the U.S; he is also the founder of Georgetown University, the oldest Catholic University in the United States.

1826-1892 – William Bonaparte, grandson of Lucien, brother of Napoleon Bonaparte

1850-1894 – Robert Louis Stevenson was a famous English writer who wrote Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde, Treasure Island and other great novels.

1821-1910 – Mary Baker Eddy was the founder of the Christian Science religion (Monitor)

1876-1957 – Frank E Gannett was a famous newspaper publisher; he has libraries named after him

1913-1967 – Harry Wismer was the American original owner of the New York Jets, was also a sports broadcaster

1947-1994 – Elizabeth Meyer was the wife of Paul Michael Glaser, dies of AIDS at 47; Paul Michael Glaser was Detective David Starsky on the Starsky and Hutch series on television. She received an HIV contaminated blood transfusion.

1935-1997 – Steve Hamilton was a pitcher for the NY Yankees who also played in the NBA, some places said he died on December 2, others on December 3

1942-1999 – Madeline Kahn, American actress, played in many films, was voice and narrator, played on Cosby, she died from Ovarian Cancer

1918-1999 – Jarl Wahlström was the 12th General of The Salvation Army
