Homeschooling keeps parents actively in the loop of their child’s educational development. The advancements of our society have streamlined the delivery of services of all of its institutionalized branches. As a result, there is a striking similarity in the design of the school systems, in comparison to hospitals and correctional centers, and it is no coincidence that the systems are often interlinked.

The focus of the school environments today is mainly on statistical results, related to test scores and attendance rates. School percentiles against national averages is the now driving force behind the production of results. Okay, so, where does the child fit in?

Well, the children are technically enlisted to meet and maintain that school’s grade, in addition to gaining an education. The children are essential to the goal of meeting the school district’s quota in student body, performance and essential statistical data to help that institution rank high in the United States. Oftentimes, our schools are able to provide stellar environments of learning for our children, above and beyond these added competitive elements. However, it is oftentimes not without the need to generalize and streamline the approaches of educators to lesson delivery, in order to get the job done on time.

In light of the colorful individuality of each child, many parents – who can afford to provide alternatives – have turned to home-school education for their child, to foster an enriched educational environment customized to their child’s growth and development needs. Public and private educational environments are just not equipped to dedicate 8 hours of hands-on, one-to-one, specialized lessons for each child. They may try, but they will not be able to do it for every student’s needs.

Parents just do not want to miss out on the preciousness of their child’s most formative years.
