The Magician on his own is a card of great power. The Magician is a youth with all the signs of full manhood. Usually the symbols of the four Tarot Suits (Wands, Cups, Discs, and Swords) are placed in front of him. This signifies his mastery of self and surroundings.
The Magician a card that suggests a person with great confidence and with the knowledge to achieve his goals. He knows what he wants, and he’s using all his recourses to get it.
1. The Magician as the Center
The Magician as the Center suggests the situation is completely under control. There is a purpose which all elements of the situation are pointed towards, and the desired outcome is likely.
2. The Magician as the Obstacle
The Magician as the Obstacle suggests everything is working against the receiver when it comes to this situation. It is not impossible to overcome this obstacle, it’s just going to take a lot of hard work.
3. The Magician as the Super-Conscious
The Magician as the Super-Conscious suggests the receiver has confidence in the outcome of this situation. He’s sure that everything will be the way he desires.
4. The Magician as the Recent Future
The Magician as the Recent Future suggests the receiver is about to move into a place of higher authority, and this will directly effect the situation. This is most likely a purposeful change. In this position The Magician signifies more his power and influence than his knowledge.
5. The Magician as the Subconscious
The Magician as the Subconscious suggests the receiver has full control of the situation. There is nothing which effects the outcome greater than the receiver’s influence, choices, and knowledge.
6. The Magician as the Recent Past
The Magician as the Recent Past suggests it was the receiver’s choice to get into the situation. He had full knowledge of what it would bring, and made a purposeful choice when the situation came to be.
7. The Magician as the Receiver
The Magician as the Receiver suggest the receiver knows what he wants in life. The receiver has the education he needs, and all the resources he could want to fulfill any of his desires. He is full of life, and wants to take the world by storm with his dreams.
8. The Magician as the Influence
The Magician as the Influence suggests the receiver is being guided by strong minded people. This is not necessarily a negative thing. These can be people to learn from, and they can offer assistance when needed.
9. The Magician as the Intuition
The Magician as the Intuition suggests the receiver has a certain grasp on what he needs to do to achieve the desired outcome. He should act on it. There will be success.
10. The Magician as the Outcome
The Magician as the Outcome suggests the situation will come to a perfect balance and all parties will be pleased with it. In the end, everything will be understood, accepted, and remembered for later experiences in life.
