This non traditional dish is suitable for easy preparation and could be used as every day dish. The time for its preparation is an hour and ten minutes. It serves 2-3.


2 big heads celery

2 onions

3 red tomatoes (or 1 table spoon tomato sauce)

20 olives

1 table spoon red pepper

1 table spoon flour


½ bunch of parsley

Lemon juice

Salt to taste

Method of preparation:

Chop the onion finely and stew it together with the red pepper in the previously heated oil. Then add the peeled and grated tomatoes (or the tomato sauce), later add the celery cut into slices. Pour warm water and leave the dish until the celery is mild. Meanwhile prepare the olives. You have to put them into hot water for 2-3 minutes. Then add them to dish. Put the flour into a bowl and add 2 table spoons warm water. Stir well. Add this mixture to the dish and continue cooking for 10-15 minutes. After your dish is ready you have to serve it with the finely chopped parsley and the lemon juice. Enjoy!
