EGGS can beautify your skin and hair in several ways: For a mild skin toning mask beat up the white of one egg with a few drops of lemon juice and apply to a cleansed face. Leave for ten minutes then rinse off with lukewarm water. For a temporary tightening effect apply beaten egg white over your clean moisturised face. When it has dried on your skin apply your make up.
To condition hair, beat up a whole egg and apply to hair that has been freshly washed. Rinse off with cool water or the egg will scramble.
For a very dry skin mix two egg yolks with a tablespoon of almond oil and pat some gently over face and neck. Tissue off and apply again. Tissue off once more then rinse with warm water.
HONEY face mask for a very dry skin: Add one tablespoon of double cream and one tablespoon of honey to a ripe mashed banana. Pat over face, leave for 15 minutes and rinse off.
For stubborn blackheads, heat 3 tablespoons of clear honey over a very low heat until warm then pat onto the affected areas. Leave on for 15 minutes then wash it off with tepid water.

MILK can be applied around the eyes on a pad of cotton wool to relieve puffiness. Allow to dry then re-apply.
OLIVE OIL is a good all round softener for all parts of the body if a tablespoonful is added to the bath water. But take care as it makes the bath surface very slippery. It is wise to use a non slip bath mat.
Deep condition dry hair with a little warmed olive oil massaged into your hair and scalp. Wrap your head in a warm towel for 15-30 minutes then shampoo as normal. While you are waiting try soaking rough dry hands and cuticles in warm olive oil for 5 minutes.
