For years I have picked up my newly delivered Yellow Pages from the driveway as did my neighbors, and placed it in the recycling bin without even looking at a single page. Recycling is only second best to not even receiving unwanted directories in the first place.
While many companies are trying to go green and paperless, there are still some, producing a lot of waste. As consumers, we can have our say, we do have a choice to opt out from receiving the Yellow Pages.
Canceling the delivery is easy, as is finding Yellow Pages information online at www.yellowpages.com. It only takes 5 minutes.
- 1Call AT&T Advertising and Publishing at 1800-848-8000.
- Select option 0 to talk to a customer service representative.
- Tell the representative about your intention to cancel receiving the Yellow Pages. You will need to give your name, address and phone number.
- The customer service representative will forward your request to the distribution center. No more waste at your doorstep from the Yellow Pages, but you will find them online if you wish.
