Blogging is a lot of fun, but if you have an active life outside of your blog, you might sometimes find yourself strapped for time and energy to work on your blog. But did you know that there are some easy ways that you can save time as a blogger?
You can easily be a more productive blogger, simply by doing the following:
Keeping track of all tasks related to the blog
Some people think that blogging is just about writing the blog posts, but it is so much more than that! You also need to market your blog so that you get readers, to answer to any comments you get and so on. So start by writing down all the things you have to do, related to the blog.
Schedule a time to do each task.
You can do each task whenever you want, but the important thing is to have some time set aside for each task, so that everything gets done. Tasks can be scheduled daily, weekly or less often, all depending on what your blog is like.
Make a list of blog ideas, so you never have to think too much about what to write. Many experienced bloggers keep a notepad with them at all times, so that they can write down ideas whenever, where-ever.
Once you have the list ready, it should be fairly easy to write more than one post at a time. So make it a habit to at least write one post that you post immediately, and one that you save for later, each time you sit down to write. This will save you a lot of time in the long run!
If you are really strapped for time, use a guest blogger. It can be another blogger you know or even a family member. Make it an occasion, and something fun, instead of explaining to your writers that you simply don’t have the time to post yourself.
