  • Ingredients:

  • left over turkey

  • carrots

  • water

  • chicken bouillon

  • carrots

  • onions

  • celery

  • macaroni noodles

  • Steps:

  • chop up turkey so that it is basically shredded. It still needs to be in chunks though. If that makes sense.

  • Boil water and add chicken bouillon. Add garlic, salt and pepper and Italian seasonings. Put in chicken and your veggies.

  • In a separate pot cook noodles till al dente. Drain and set aside. When your water broth is seasoned enough and the vegetables are cooked through, Add noodles. Let cook on low for about 10 more minutes so that the noodles absorb broth a little.

  • Ladle into soup bowls and enjoy with your favorite roll!!!

  • When i make soup i like to have lots of veggies in it, i like to add broccoli to it because it breaks down and adds great flavor to it also.

  • * You could also make a white gravy to add to your broth to make it a creamy soup instead

  • * Some say that chicken soup heals you well i think this turkey soup adds warmth to a cool night and it heals you right up too!!

I always try to include my kids in teh kitchen, it help them to learn how to do basic tasks.  Just be careful with little hands nearby!
