Mistakes Done During Weight Loss Program

People often try hard to lose body weight; but there are only a few who are successful. The reason being that most of us commit any one of the below mistakes and lead ourselves to failure. We can skip these mistakes and help ourselves in reducing the body weight.

Firstly, we should not stick to the calorie plan throughout the plan. We should change the calorie plan as we reduce weight. So, to reduce weight at a constant rate it is required to constantly decrease the calorie intake to accommodate the calorie expenditure drop and increase the calorie output by exercising more. It is better that you should set a realistic weight loss goal. If you prefer to go for fast weight loss then there might be some problems that you might need to face. You may not be able to sustain for a long period unless and until you exercise a lot and reduce your calorie intake drastically. But, be aware of your stamina and body strength in doing this way too. So we need to follow the general rule: the bigger the person is the smaller is the rate of the metabolic drop.

Secondly, some people over report the calorie expenditure of exercise. Most people count the calorie spent during exercises as the “extra” calorie spent. However, this is not the correct procedure. This miscalculates the calorie calculations and hence the whole diet and health plan gets affected. So, to understand which extra calories need to be reported, we need to understand first where the extra calories are being utilized. Let us take it this way, in case you walk to your office daily; it is not the extra calories; but in case you walk down to the market some day, that can be reported as the extra calories utilized.
