Baguio City is considered as the summer capital of the Philippines. And most Filipinos prefer to go here especially during summer because of the cool weather. Also, aside from the cool weather there are lots of places and things to do in the City.

I’ve visited Baguio during this summer just to feel the cool weather. And also I went to the places which most of tourists and balikbayans visited.

First, I went to the Baguio Cathedral just to thanks Him for the safe trip. Baguio Cathedral is one of the familiar landmarks in the city.

Second, I went to the Burnham Park. This is the oldest park in BaguioCity. It provides facilities for sport activities and concert event and more.

Third, I went to Mines View. This is a place where you can get to see the nice view of the mountain ranges. Third, I went to Mines View. This is a place where you can get to see the nice view of the mountain ranges.

In this place, you can also take pictures wearing those native attire and you can also buy lots of souvenir items.

Fourth, I went to Botanical Garden. This is a place where you can see flowers. Just like the one I have. See below pictures. And also, there are more flowers and more to explore inside the botanical garden.

Fifth, I went to Philippine Military Academy. This was created to train future officers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

Sixth, I went to Strawberry Farm. This is a place where you can see and taste the strawberry fruits. There’s also vegetables planted in the farm like, lettuce and more.

And of course, I went to Lourdes Grotto – this is a religious shrine housing the image of the Lady of Lourdes. About 252 steps lead to this shrine where pilgrims brave the steep climb to offer sacrifices, devotion and prayers.
