Fishing in Virginia Beach, VA

Scrolling through some of my photo albums, I came to the photos from another visit to the east coast last summer. I’d flown into North Carolina to see my grandma, dad, and brother. A few days into the trip, we ended up taking a drive through Virginia and Maryland to visit with other relatives.

While in Virginia, we stopped by Dockside Seafood and Fishing Center and went on a half-day fishing trip on the Chesapeake Bay. After about four hours on the water, I only turned up a couple of fish, but I enjoyed the fishing trip and was so pleased with the service there, that I thought I might do a bit of promotion.

If you’re ever in the area, stop by Dockside. It’s a great little place that offers great seafood, fishing trips, boat rentals, and dolphin cruises. The prices are great, fishing rods and bait are provided for you, and the boats are also stocked with small snacks for purchase. If you need another reason to go, there’s parasailing as well! It’s also located at Dockside Seafood and Fishing Center. For pricing and more information on the two, visit Dockside at http://www.fishingvabeach.com and Shore Drive Parasail at http://www.virginiaparasailing.com/directions.html.
