Football camp ends and Favre is back in Minnesota. It was expected that Brett Favre’s fourth retirement was a hoax. Brett Favre fooled us again if you want to look at it that way. Brett Favre had his best statistical year last year for the Minnesota Vikings. He passed for thirty-three touchdowns and only seven interceptions. Brett Favre led the Minnesota Vikings into the playoffs last year. The Minnesota Vikings lost to the New Orleans Saints in the NFC Championship game. New Orleans won the Super Bowl by defeating the Indianapolis colts. Brett Favre was an interception or two away from his chance to make it to the 2010 Super Bowl.

Brett Favre came back again this year because he wants to win another Super Bowl. Brett Favre is 40. He is on his last leg in the NFL. He has been one of the toughest quarterbacks in NFL history. As he ages, even Brett Favre gets hurt. Brett Favre injured his shoulder two years ago when he played for the Jets. He injured his ankle in the 2010 NFC Championship game. Both injuries gave the football world doubt that Brett Favre would play another down in the NFL. He proved everybody wrong with his incredible season with the Minnesota Vikings last year.

Worst yet, he has succeeded at a game where most men don’t have a chance to play. Brett Favre has been one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play in the NFL. He wants another Super Bowl because just one is not enough. I’ll give Brett Favre credit where credit is due. He makes the NFL a more exciting game. Eventually, even Brett Favre will have to retire.
