So, depending on what time of year it is, you can choose which one you would like to make. If it is hot outside and you do not want to start up the oven, make the Almond cookies. If it is cold out and putting on the oven will help keep you warm, make the brownies.

With this brownie recipe you will enjoy the combination of chocolate and fruit in every bite.
* 1 box brownie mix, or your favorite brownie recipe
* 1 bag (12 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate chips
* 1/4 cup powdered sugar
* 2 tsp instant coffee
* 1 pkg (8 ounces) cream cheese
* 1/3 cup raspberry jam
Make brownies as directed on box or bag.
Add 1 tsp instant coffee to mixture.
Bake brownies as directed and allow them time to cool.
Mix cream cheese in mixer until light and fluffy.
Add sugar and jam and mix until combined.
Melt chips in microwave, stirring often to prevent burning. About 1-11/2 minutes.
Add remaining 1 tsp coffee to this mixture.
Fold melted chocolate into cream cheese mixture.
Spread topping over brownies and chill for at least an hour before cutting.

No Bake Almond Balls
* 1 cup slivered almonds (or more)
* 2-4 tsp Carob powder (optional)
Pulse almonds in a food processor until fine crumbs.
Add honey, until firm enough to roll into bite sized balls.
Keep stored in an airtight container.
If you would like to make chocolate almond cookies, you may add Carob powder to the mixture. Pulse it in then roll them up!
