Patching a Small Crack in your Concrete

Step one: Gather all of the necessary items that you will need for patching you concrete crack. You will need a wire brush, concrete crack sealer, bucket, and a hand trowel. You can find all of these supplies at your local hardware store.

Now that you have all of your supplies gathered you are ready to begin patching your concrete crack. Start by cleaning the crack using the wire brush get out all of the rocks and dirt. Then use a hose with a nozzle on it and spray out the crack. Let the crack dry. Now clean the concrete crack with a non acid concrete cleaner.

Let the surface dry overnight. Fill the crack with the concrete sealer. Keep adding the sealer until it makes a ¼ inch thick layer. Take a break and let the concrete crack sealer dry for 24 hours.

Now that the first layer of concrete sealer is dry, add another layer of sealer. Do not overfill the crack. Pour in enough concrete sealer until it is flush with the surface of the concrete. Take another break and allow the concrete sealer to dry for another 24 hours and you are done.
