Cream soup with pumpkin

The recipe serves 4-5. The time for preparation is about 50 minutes.


1 kg pumpkin

1 middle sized potato

30 gr butter

50 gr yellow cheese

50 ml white wine

Salt to taste

White pepper

Pumpkin seeds chopped



Method of preparation:

First you have to peel and chop the pumpkin and the potato finely. So, they could be cooked very easy. Then you have to put them into a sauce pan and after that you have to pour some water. Add the butter, the grated yellow cheese, the salt to taste and the white pepper. After the soup is cooked you have to smash the ingredients into a mixer. In the end you have to add the white wine and to cook for 5 minutes. Sprinkle the finely chopped parsley. Your soup is ready to be served. When you serve it you can add 1 table spoon cream for each portion. You can also add some croutons and the chopped pumpkin seeds. Although the soup is unusual it is very tasty. Enjoy!
