Almond Coffee Cake

This flavorful cake can be served with hot or cold beverages and most anyone will enjoy it’s smooth flavor. It is delicious served hot or cold and goes well with breakfast, lunch, dinner, or anytime in between. This delicious dessert may be enjoyed by anyone and kids will love it. Great for [paking in lunch boxes and it stores easily and can be reheated in the microwave.

Ingredients:

One half cup of butter

1 cup of sugar

3 eggs

2 teaspoons of almond extract

Two cups of flour, all-purpose

One teaspoon of baking powder

One teaspoon of baking soda

One cup of sour cream

Topping-

Mix one cup of brown sugar, one cup of sliced almonds, 4 tablespoons of all-purpose flour and a half of teaspoon of cinnamon and four tablespoons of butter, mix until well blended.

Directions:

1. Mix butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and flavoring and mix well.

2. Sift flour, baking powder, and baking soda,. Add dry ingredioents to butter mixture and sour cream.

3. Spread half of the batter into a greased 7×11 inch pan. Sprinkle with half of the topping. Add the rest of the batter. Add the remaining to[pping.

4. Bake at 350 degrees F for 40 minutes, Serve and enjoy!
