This simple and easy to make soup only takes 10 minutes to prepare and 15 minutes to cook. The recipe will make four hearty servings. This recipe may be served chilled, warm, or hot. Served with hot buttered rolls it is very flavorful. Vegetables contain many healthy vitamins and minerals. This recipe is much less time consuming than most soup recipes. One half cup of chopped carrots
One half cup of chopped celery
OPne half cup of chopped onion
2 tablespoons of butter
3 cups of water
1 cup of instant potato flakes
2 cups of milk
One half cup of whipping cream
1 teaspoon of salt
1 can of peas
Fresh chives for garnishment
1. Saute carrots, onion, celery in butter in a large saucepan for two minutes. Add water.
2. Heat to boiling and simmer for fifteen minutes. Stir in the potato flakes and the milk.
3. Add cream, salt, and peas. Add more milk if you like a thinner broth. Heat to boiling.
4. Garnish with chives. Serve and enjoy!
